Setting your matching preferences, understanding your introductions, and introducing two connections.
Your matching preferences live on the same page as your profile, under a separate tab, and only two fields, your goals and your industries, actually require a selection, even though the section is labeled "Required Information."
After you save your matching preferences, new and updated matches are recalculated on a nightly schedule, so changes show up the next day rather than immediately.
Both the "I'm Hiring" and "Open to New Opportunities" toggles open a role picker that requires you to choose at least one role: if you close it without picking one, the toggle switches back off.
Your Matches page shows some introductions fully unlocked and others locked and blurred with just a count and a general reason, reflecting your membership tier's monthly introduction limit, and it's built to create anticipation, not to withhold access.
Beyond the introductions prepared for you, you can also personally introduce two of your own existing connections to each other. The concept works today, but a reliable way to start a new one is currently missing and being looked at.
Give any match a thumbs up to be more likely to meet similar people going forward, or a thumbs down to be less likely. Neither one permanently blocks anyone.
