Introducing Two of Your Connections

Known issue

Starting a new introduction between two of your connections isn't reliably reachable in the app right now, and it's being looked at.

Beyond the introductions prepared for you, you can also personally introduce two of your own existing connections to each other. The concept works today, but a reliable way to start a new one is currently missing and being looked at.

This is a different feature from the introductions prepared for you on your Matches page. Here, you're the one making the introduction, connecting two people you already know to each other, the way you might broker an introduction at an event.

What this feature is for

Once an introduction like this exists between two of your connections, both people can see it and choose to save each other to their own network. It's a way of putting two people you trust in touch, with your name attached to the introduction.

Right now, there isn't a reliable way to start a new introduction between two of your connections in the app. We're not going to point you to a button that doesn't consistently work: this is a known gap, and it's being looked at.

If you were expecting to find a clear "Create Introduction" option and couldn't, that's not something you missed: the entry point for starting a new one just isn't dependable in the current app.

This is separate from your own matches, which continue to work normally. See "Understanding Your Introductions" for how those work.
