Giving Feedback on a Match

Updated 2026-07-09 · Member

Give any match a thumbs up to be more likely to meet similar people going forward, or a thumbs down to be less likely. Neither one permanently blocks anyone.

Every match on your Matches page can be given quick feedback, and it's one of the easiest ways to shape the introductions you get going forward.

How it works

  1. Open a match on your Matches page
  2. Choose a thumbs up or thumbs down
  3. Future introductions adjust based on that feedback over time

Feedback only adjusts future weighting. It never permanently blocks a specific person, and it doesn't remove or undo a match you've already received.

There's no wrong answer here: feedback is just a signal, not a rating that follows you or the other person around. Give it honestly and it'll do its job.

Frequently asked

Does a thumbs down remove that person from my matches?

No. It just makes similar future matches less likely: it doesn't remove or undo the match you already received.

Can I change my feedback after giving it?

You can revisit a match and give updated feedback; it feeds into future matching the same way.

Does giving a thumbs down block someone permanently?

No, nothing about match feedback is permanent: it only shifts the weighting for future introductions.
