Messaging other members and managing your email and notification preferences.
You can message anyone in your Contacts or recent Matches directly, even before a first message has been sent, through direct 1:1 conversations. There's no group chat or channel feature.
You can report an inappropriate message or block someone from the three-dot menu in any conversation. Blocking someone also removes them as a connection in Your Network.
In Settings, you can turn each email category on or off individually, choose delivery frequency for a couple of them, or use the All Emails switch to turn off everything optional at once.
On desktop, the notification bell in the header opens a live-updating dropdown of your recent activity; this feature doesn't currently exist on mobile.
Click "Enable Notifications" to let your browser register you for push notifications; if nothing happens, your browser's notification permission is likely blocked at the system level.
You can unsubscribe using the link in the footer of any email, or by adjusting your email preferences in Settings. Both lead to the same underlying settings.
