The notification bell is desktop-only today and does not appear in the mobile header.
On desktop, the notification bell in the header opens a live-updating dropdown of your recent activity; this feature doesn't currently exist on mobile.
On desktop, you'll find a bell icon in the header. Clicking it opens a dropdown showing your recent activity, things like new matches, messages, and introductions, updating live as new activity comes in.
The bell gives you a quick, at-a-glance view of what's happened recently without needing to visit each feature area separately. It's meant as a fast check-in point while you're already at your desk working.
The notification bell is a desktop-only feature today. It does not appear in the mobile header. On mobile, the way to stay aware of new activity is through push notifications, if you've enabled them, or by checking each feature area directly, like chat or introductions.
This is simply how the mobile experience works today, not a bug. If you're on your phone, push notifications and checking individual sections are your best way to stay current.
Why don't I see a notification bell on my phone?
The bell is a desktop-only feature right now. On mobile, push notifications and checking each feature area directly are how you stay aware of new activity.
Does the bell update automatically?
Yes, the dropdown updates live as new activity comes in. You don't need to refresh the page.
Will the notification bell come to mobile?
Not today. Right now it's available on desktop only.
