What You Can't Hide

Updated 2026-07-09 · Member

Name, Company, Title, and Bio are always public by design, and industries served and the services you offer currently have no visibility toggle at all.

Most fields on your profile can be hidden from your public link with a toggle, but a handful can't be turned off. Here's exactly which ones, and why.

Always public by design

Name, Company, and Title are treated as basic identity information rather than private details, the same way a name badge at an in-person event isn't something you'd hide. Bio works differently: it's not a deliberate design choice so much as a visibility control that doesn't exist yet.

Also always visible, for now

Bio, Industries Served, and the services you offer don't have a way to hide them today. If you'd rather not have something specific listed there, the honest workaround is to leave it out of the field itself rather than relying on a toggle that doesn't exist yet.

Frequently asked

Can I hide my Bio from my public profile?

Not currently. There's no visibility toggle for Bio. It always shows on your public profile page.

Why are Name, Company, and Title never hidden?

They're treated as core identity information by design, similar to a name badge at an event, so there's no toggle for any of the three.

Can I at least hide the services I offer?

Not yet. There's no visibility control for that field or for Industries Served today.
