Your profile page holds your name, company, title, bio, photo, and contact details, and every change saves on its own about a second after you stop typing. There's no Save button.
Your profile is the first thing other members see about you, whether that's on your public share link, in your matches, or in your network. It's worth a few minutes to make sure everything on it is current.
To change any field, just click into it and start typing. There's nothing to submit and nothing to click when you're done.
This page has no Save button. Every field saves on its own about a second after you stop typing, and a small "Saved" confirmation appears so you know it went through.
If you haven't written your own bio yet, the app writes a short starter one from the rest of your profile details, and you'll see a caption letting you know it's a starter version. The moment you type even a few words of your own, that auto-written version stops and your own bio takes its place for good.
Want to update your photo? That has its own article: see "Your Profile Photo" for uploading, cropping, and removing it.
Do I need to click Save on my profile?
No. Every field on the profile page autosaves about a second after you stop typing, and you'll see a brief "Saved" message confirm it.
Can I edit my email address here?
Your email is shown on this page but isn't editable here. Changing your email or password is handled in Account & Security.
What happens if I never write my own bio?
The app keeps writing a starter bio from your profile details on your behalf, clearly marked as an auto-written starter. It only stops once you write and save your own.
