Event Mode is the live, in-room experience that unlocks once an event begins and you've checked in, giving you full profiles for your introductions, a way to confirm We Met, and real-time radar alerts.
Event Mode is what turns Genius Networking from a planning tool into something you actually use while you're standing in the room. It's built for the moments during an event, not before or after it.
Event Mode turns on automatically once an event actually begins and you've checked in at the venue. Registering isn't enough on its own: checking in is what activates it, since it's meant to reflect who's genuinely there in person.
If you already have introductions waiting for the event, you may see a note like this beforehand.
"You already have introductions waiting. We'll help you remember who you meet tonight." It's meant to be reassuring, not a countdown. There's no rush.
Once you're checked in and Event Mode is live, everything else, introductions, We Met, and radar, is available for the rest of the event.
Does Event Mode turn on the moment an event starts?
Not quite. It needs both things: the event has started, and you've checked in at the venue.
What can I do in Event Mode that I can't do beforehand?
You get full profiles for your unlocked introductions, the ability to confirm We Met in person, and real-time radar alerts.
What happens if I never check in?
Event Mode won't activate for you, so you won't see the in-room features like We Met confirmations or radar alerts for that event.
