Understanding Your Event Recap

Updated 2026-07-09 · Member

Your recap shows who you confirmed meeting, who you were introduced to but missed, and a gentle suggestion to follow up while it's still fresh.

After an event wraps up, your recap is where everything comes together: a simple record of who you met and why it mattered, so you don't have to rely on memory alone.

What's in a recap

Before you've attended an event

If you haven't been to an event yet, your recap area isn't showing you an error or an empty database: it's simply waiting for your first one.

"After you attend an event, a record of who you met and why they mattered will appear here."

Following up

The follow-up suggestion is just that: a suggestion. It's there because reaching out soon after meeting someone tends to matter more than reaching out weeks later, not because there's any pressure attached to it.

Frequently asked

What's a missed connection?

Someone you were introduced to for an event but didn't get to confirm meeting with We Met.

How soon should I follow up with someone I met?

The recap gently suggests following up within about 48 hours, while the meeting is still fresh, but there's no strict deadline.

What does my recap show if I haven't attended an event yet?

It stays simply empty and forward-looking, letting you know your first recap will appear once you attend an event.

Is a recap the same thing as a Replay?

No, a recap is a written summary of who you met, while a Replay is a video recording of a purchased workshop. They're separate features.
